What is Cruelty-Free Makeup?

So, in reality, we put them through this harmful process for no reason.

Companies have access to a list of over 7,000 products that are already proven safe thanks to prior testing. There’s simply no reason to continue conducting animal testing with so much new research at hand. The ones that do are simply in it to make a profit in countries that require animal testing or to try to come up with what they think is a revolutionary new ingredient.

The supposed benefits of animal testing far outweigh the negatives -- and that’s where cruelty-free comes in. Switching over to cruelty-free products helps gradually eliminate the established “norm” of animal testing all without sacrificing quality or value.
