Maria Felix’s signature shade arrives in our iconic classic satin formula: richly pigmented, sumptuously smooth, and endlessly wearable. Housed in a custom pink enamel case, the bullet is etched with her beloved serpent motif and signed with her name, an intimate tribute to her legacy of fearless beauty. Bold. Feminine. Our application guide has been used for decades on actresses to give them perfect camera-ready lips that last throughout a long day of filming.

1. Prepare Lips

  • Make sure your lips are clean and free of dryness.
  • Hydrate lips with a small amount of your favorite balm and let set for a minute.
  • Blot excess balm and apply a touch of foundation to the edges of your lips. This will lock in the lipstick’s color and extend its wear.
  • Draw in the natural edge of your lips with the Bésame lipstick’s tip sharp point. This will keep the lipstick from bleeding out of the edges of the lip line.
  • Do not overdraw your lip line since this may create an artificial look.

2. Apply Bésame Lipstick

  • Using the flat side of your Bésame lipstick, starting at the highest point of the lips directly under the nostrils.
  • Fill in with color, working towards the corner of the lips on one side, then from the center out to the other corner.
  • Apply one coat of color filling in the top and bottom of your lips.
  • If you go outside the lip line, use your finger or a cotton swab to correct it and then blend the area with a bit of your foundation.
  • Press your lips together lightly to distribute the color.
  • For a stronger finish, apply a final coat in the center of the lip.
  • Lastly, use a tissue to gently blot the lips to seal in the color. Blot twice. Add one final coat with one more blot to finish.

    A beautiful combination of rich, elegant, and sultry

    Enamorada has quickly worked it's way into being one of my favorite red shades of lipstick (right up there with American Beauty and Victory Red). There's just something extra about that 1940s elegance! The color is extremely pigmented, giving lovely pink undertones for us cool-toned ladies. It truly makes me sad that this beautiful lipstick is going away, because Enamorada is absolutely stunning.

    Flattering color

    This is a high quality lipstick and the color is very flattering for those with brown skin. It is a nice shade of red… loud but not too loud. It also has a smooth texture and easy to apply. The lipstick is pigmented so be careful of smearing as it will leave a red stain. The container/packaging is beautiful and well thought out. The pin that comes with it is also made with good material and not a cheaply made pin. Overall, I am a stratified customer.

    Gorgeous shade

    Beautiful shade, it is red with a hint of pink. It is super pigmented and goes well with medium tone skin. The formula is long lasting but not transfer proof which is fine by me. The packaging is gorgeous, lovely golden design on a pink solid color. Maria Felix is an icon and I feel empowered with this lipstick thinking of her.

    Beautiful Set Even Though All I Wanted Was The Lipstick

    While the included snake pin is fun, the color is where it’s at. This is a gorgeous darker red that isn’t messy or overpowering. I also appreciated learning the story of the woman who inspired this hue. While I probably won’t ever use the pin, it was worth the extra few dollars just to ensure I got in on this lip shade while I could; that’s how much I like it.

    High quality, everything!

    The lipstick has a pink undertone to it and was perfect to wear to a car show at the beginning of spring. I got complimented 3 different times about my lipstick, once from a man! And the broach was gorgeous. The photo is after about 5 hours, a hot dog and some drinks ( through a straw). Im very impressed with how evening it faded. This is a perfect spring/summer color.
