Yes! We gather vintage makeup from estate sales, auctions and antique stores and recreate the colors and textures to exactly match the originals, including our classic reds. We use modern ingredients for safe and long wearing cosmetics.
Bésame lipsticks are made with a semi-matte finish. We didn’t formulate our lipsticks with a matte finish for two reasons: First, and contrary to popular belief, vintage lipsticks from the early 20th century were not matte. They were made with petroleum products or castor oils, and were pastier than lipstick formulations today. Second, we didn’t opt for a matte formula because of texture; it’s terribly drying on the lips and would flake after a full day’s wear. Our satin finish won’t chap your lips and wears wonderfully well. Back then, women would blot the color to achieve a lasting finish, and you can do the same! Apply a layer of lipstick, blot with a tissue, reapply another layer, then blot again. Or, dust a layer of translucent powder on top of your lip color to seal and mattify.

If you ordered from Besamecosmetics.com from outside the USA, please keep in mind that your shipment is originating in the USA and is considered an international order. Upon placing an international order, the purchaser agrees to the following terms:
1) Purchaser is responsible for all local or national import duties, fees, or VAT upon delivery to your country.
2) All returns will be subject to a $5 re-stocking fee.

Returns & Exchanges
At Bésame Cosmetics we not only want to reach your expectations, we want to exceed them! Our cosmetics contain the finest formulations and we've worked diligently to carry your perfect color match – but we understand matching skin tones to online products is sometimes tough. With that in mind, Bésame offers a full 30 Day Exchange or Return Policy (excluding sample sets and final sale items). NOTE: Exchanges are limited to twice per order within a 60 day window. Any additional exchange attempts will be cancelled, including attempts outside the allotted timeframe.
All sales are final on limited edition and licensed products. Exchanges for these special products are only available for damaged goods.

If your products have arrived damaged, we sincerely apologize! Please contact us at email@example.com within 3 business days for prompt handling of your concerns. All damaged licensed products will need to be returned and received before we can ship out a replacement.
When requesting to return or exchange items, you must have proof of purchase, such as your order number or a copy of your receipt. In most cases, we will also request photos of the item(s) in question for our records, especially if the item is damaged. If you have thrown away your proof of purchase and/or the items you are hoping to exchange or be refunded for, we unfortunately cannot accommodate your request. In order to assist you, the items must still be in your possession, since we may need you to return them to us.
Bésame Cosmetics reserves the right to deem return items non-refundable if more than what we consider a reasonable amount of product is used, or missing.
Unfortunately, Bésame Cosmetics is not able to refund or credit original shipping fees or return shipping fees on your package.
