Kodak 1922 Kodachrome Film Test

 Kodak 1922 Kodachrome Film Test
At Besame we just loved this footage from Kodak from 1922 of one of the first Kodachrome film tests. We have been mesmerized by the beauty of these lovely ladies and how similar they are to us today. We decided to have some fun and recreate it with our own Besame Girls (wearing all Besame Cosmetics of course!). Take a peek at the original below and our recreation!

Wow.. wow….the last woman in the Kodak video was Mae Murray, the girl with the bee stung lips. I have never seen a color moving image of her..As an avid fan of the 1920s that completely made my day! Thank you so much for posting….

What a wonderful idea!! Evokes my early girlish memories of the ladies of a later era in the early 50’s. Loved their everyday fashions & makeup including permed hair, hats, heels & gloves. In the process of gathering the fashions & Besame cosmetics to do my own photoshoot recreation of the lovely women of that stylish era.

Thank you! They would use small pin curls and then set with clips! <3
